File this under grunge. Found this grunge ribbon many years ago in a shop in the Pacific Northwest. I do not know what it is made from but it calls out to be used for grungy mixed media projects. The ribbon is black on the front side and a mottled gray on the reverse. It measures ½ inch in width and can only be torn if first snipped by a scissors. Then when torn, it has a rough edge.
The 4 yards are spun around a vintage spool measuring 2.5 inches high and 2 ⅛ inches in diameter. Each of the spools has some or all of the original labels on one or both sides. The samples in the images may or not be the exact one received.
